A double feature today! Two of my favorite songs of the 80's, both from the soundtrack for the "classic" film Berry Gordy's Last Dragon! Both songs are by the Motown recording artist Alfie Silas.

Such a great driving song... especially on a sunny day, with some Cazals sunglasses and shoulder pads on! But thats what the 80s were all about...for me! :-D This song reminds me a lot of Let's Here It For The Boy by Deniece Williams from Footloose.
Alfie Silas-Give Me Your Love
A rarer hit than Star, but the vocals are outstanding! Give Me Your Love didn't even make the cut for the official soundtrack album that was released (inexplicably), but was in the film and could be heard in the scene where Leroy (Taimak) goes to Laura Charles' (Vanity) apartment to retrieve a special medallion given him by his kung-fu master!
